I may have one on an old torque tube assembly back in the pole barn. I think I remember one of the wheels being a 37-38 wheel. I've been wanting to get rid of that TT assembly for years. I'll try to remember to look in the morning. If it's the wheel you want you can have it for nothing if you take the whole TT. You needed an excuse for a road trip didn't you? laugh Fly out, rent a UHaul and drive back.

I actually remember to look and it is an 8 slot. Yours for the taking.

I have a suggestion to make the wheel more affordable. Schedule a trip to attend the VCCA Southern Fall Tour being planned for next fall in Wichita, KS area. Pick up the wheel on the way to the tour or at the tour. Or find another VCCA member attending the tour that lives closer to you and have them pickup and transport the wheel to their home. A few cold ones and sandwich and you are on the way home with the prized wheel.

What an excellent idea Chip. The torque tube will easily fit on his trailer along with his car.

I think there is more than just a torque tube. Tiny said TT assembly that had 2 wheels (1 of which is the type CochinaPatina wants) so that would mean axles are part of the assembly.

Yep, also old tires on the wheels. I was told it's off of a 1940. With the wheels pulled it would easily fit on a car trailer, slid up under the car.
