Hello , I am working on a 37 Chevy pickup. The differential needs to be rebuilt. I took it to a mechanic , the can;t seem to figure out how to put it back together. So,I live near Kent Oh 44266 and looking for help. Someone I can take it to or they coukd come here , and I will pay for there time.
Or if I could find a good video. The 37 Chevy manual is not much help.

. Hi Tom, .
I've attached exploded views of the Ton&half and passenger car thru One Ton pumpkins. The only thing that requires precision work is adjusting the clearance between the ring and pinion using the nut #5.537. Same as new vehicles except there's no squish fitting. Be sure to replace all seals. Neoprene are better than cork.
Passenger are hypoid. Commercial and truck are spiral bevel. If you do heavy hauling, the GMC uses taper bearings instead of ball. #5.536. . Lou .
