My 1948 Fleetmaster Station Wagon horn button (center of steering wheel) keeps falling off. Is there a way to fix this other than gluing it in place?

I would pry these four corners out a little and see if that would tighten the fit. Go easy and a little at the time.
Or you could build up the two sides with a few layers of tape to increase the diameter so it will fit tighter.
