I have been trying to find info, with no luck so far, if there are differences between the front and rear bumpers on a 1952 Chevrolet Deluxe, if any. Or are the front and rear bumpers interchangeable?

Yea, there is a difference and they are not interchangeable.

I don't have a '51 handy to actually measure it but believe the difference is the location of the holes for the braces.

The rear bumper wraps around the end of the body into an indented section of the rear quarter. The front bumper does curve but does not wrap around the front fender as far. The front bumpers are basically the same from 1949 through 1952, and the rear ones are also, but you may find some advertised as "three piece" and others as "one piece." The "one piece" ones were placed on the cars assembled in California and Canada. All the other plants used three piece sectional bumpers........and only the General knows why and isn't telling!!!
