Good morning,
I have been working on a 1931 chevy coup. I have taken the oil pan off. I discovered a small copper tube about 13 inches long in the bottom of the pan. I have checked the other oil lines in the bottom of the engine, and they seem to be in the proper place and tight. Could I be missing something?

just rebuilt my 1929 1931 maybe a little different.

what size is hte tube, and any fittings or connectors on the end ?? hopefully is extra piece or something? seen people try strange things to MOVE oil around to certain places on these engines !!

so should be a line from oil distribution block to each end of the block to feed the mains & to dipper troughs.
