Any computer experts on here ???????? When I try to access gs.vcca.club, a box comes up saying JS/Agent.PIV threat was removed by Google Chrome. Access to website denied. I have ESET virus protection. I have tried Bing and Firefox.......to no avail. I have absolutely NO clue what to do. I am NOT very computer literate. Thanks.
VCCA members have access to a list of over 50 Technical Advisors who can help you with your car. It's worth the price of membership! While you can get a lot of information for free in this forum, sometimes the info that you REALLY need is only available from the right person. This is what "The World's Best Chevrolet Club" is all about!
That is not working either.....I have tried several times with different search engines and vcca.org nothing works. Still comes up with the same box as described above. I have no idea what the "gs" is.......There must be a server problem or a virus somewhere. I'll wait till Peter replies............in the meantime, appreciate the help.
Accessing VCCA .Org is not the problem. After logging in to the site and then Members and selecting the G&D tab I get the same message from my Avast Protection . It Says Threat Secured - Infected with JS:Agent-EJE(Trj) The gs.vcca.club is possibly the site that the G&D is stored on as when i spoke with Peter he advised it is not on the VCCA Website . I believe the Members / G&D button is a redirect to gs.vcca.club as that is the site referenced as infected.. Everything else on the home page works OK.
Just now I went to the VCCA home site (VCCA.ORG), clicked on Members, clicked on G&D Magazine then clicked on January 2023. It loaded with no issues. I'm using Firefox with Avira Antivirus on a Win11 laptop. It has to be something with the security settings on the individual devices.
Edit: Doing some checking I see some antivirus programs are giving a false positive. My desktop computer with Malwarebytes is off right now. I'll access the G&D tomorrow with the desktop and see what happens. I'll probably put MWB on this laptop tomorrow as well.
Edit2: Next morning. I just now used my desktop computer to access the G&D with no adverse issues. It came right up.

I am having the same issue which started several days ago. I thought it was just temporary but just now the situation is the same. No G&D are coming up. Just a blank page. This is the first time and I have not made any changes to my computer. I tried on 2 computers and my cell phone and the same thing happens.

Paul If it isn't broken, fiddle with it anyway so you have something to repair. 1931 Deluxe Sport Roadster 1953 BelAir 4 dr. Sedan 1965 Chevy II Nova SS
I still can't access G & D magazines. It's VERY ODD.............I can look at everything on the VCCA site...just can't access G & D. I am still trying different things. My brother is a "computer guy " and is in town for the week....I am sure he can help me out. Thanks all.
If you find the "cure" let us know . It would be good if your brother is available to talk with Peter as i have done so but am not computer savvy enough to supply him with the information he needs.
Some people were having issues with access to the G&D online. I believe the issues have been resolved and should now be accessible without warnings or errors. Let me know if you till have problems. Peter VCCA Member Services memberservices@vcca.org
Negative. After clicking on the Magazine tab the next screen list the years and a photo of the current magazine and two search windows-one black w/white background and the other the opposite. Clicking on the current magazine photo brings up another search button. Clicking on the Years tab list all the back issues by decade and year. Vintage Chevrolet Club of America

Ok...I got it !!!!!!!!!!!! It comes up as a PDF .....The pages show up in little "thumbnails " on the left side of my screen. The big pages are on the main part of my screen. I just scroll down on the side ( as opposed to flipping the pages as a book like what normally happens. I ended up doing a " January 2023 " in the search box. Thanks everybody !!
On your first page that says Current Issue and has the blue text saying January 2023 & the thumbnail of the cover. Click on the blue text "January 2023". That should launch the magazine.
