Going to the guys with experience. The question is: Did the Corvette full-size wheel covers (with the knock offs),
for the '55 to '62 cars, have indentations for 2 or 4 nubs, which were on the rims. Seems like the covers I have seen only have 2 locations, not 4. Any experience would be appreciated. Bob

the 53-62 corvette 15" x 5" rims had four nubs to "fasten" the full size hubcaps to the rims. the RPO 15" x 5 1/2" rims did not have the 4 nubs( rather there were three convexities in the central part of these rims), hence chevy installed poverty(dog dish ) hub caps to these RPO wheels. mike mccagh

Mike, thanks as always...I understand the wheel arrangement. The other part of my question is on the
wheel covers, the full ones, did/should they have 2 or 4 of those little indented spots where the nubs
fit in to? The covers I have only have 2 indentations, rather than 4.....??? Bob
