Purchased a neoprene gas gauge float the 31 Chevy Independence Tudor. Need I drop the tank to install or alternative access? Thanks!

note sure on the 31 but on my 1929 did not require removing or dropping the tank :)

there is no Tudor, think that is a Ford thing :/

Where did you find access? The car is a 2 door coach.

It is necessary to drop the gas tank to replace the fuel gauge sending unit. Not too difficult but does require loosening the tailpipe and probably the wire to the sending unit (depends on the routing) in addition to the straps.
