I stumbled on this site while searching for a photo of the correct spare tire carrier for the 1939-40 half ton truck and the 41-46(7) truck.
Saw that there is a reference to a Mark Yeamans post no. 387238 in April , 2017. Yet the search doesn’t bring it up.
I’ll keep trying , but want to say I now have a source for more good reading here and happy to find this site. If anyone has some pictures of the spare tire carriers can you let me know? I’ve searched Old Car Manual as well as vendor sites. Thank you.

Welcome Tom. It seems he or one of the Mods has deleted that particular post. I looked and his post numbers went from 385xxx to 389xxx in two consecutive posts in the same thread. I suspect it was him who deleted it. You might try sending him a PM. Welcome again.
