just saw a 50 limo on face book how was drive shaft hooked up was there a closed drive shaft the whole length of the the car or was some kind of other drive shaft idea used inquiring minds would like to know do you GENE how it was done

Those were Air Port limos,

Common way to extend drive shaft was a two piece unit with a support in the middle That would be two sections of the torque tube, Going by what they did on the 1938 and 1939 long taxi cabs and longer trucks.
