Welcome. You have come to the best place in the world to obtain information and help on restoration and preservation of older Chevrolets & GMCs. Looks like a real project that you and your son have acquired. To most folks it looks to be a candidate for the junk yard. But to many of us it looks to be a real good start to the restoration of a piece of Chevrolet history.

First step is to inventory the parts you have and their condition. Search the internet for photos to aid in your efforts. Come back as often as you want to ask questions, get opinions and obtain parts.

A father son project can be an opportunity for building stronger bonds and relationships. Good Luck

looks like a good gain especially if the "given" price is what I think it means.

Stephen,
A friend of mine lost parts of 3 1927 1-ton trucks in a barn fire this summer and is he looking for parts to try to put one truck together. You and I have exchanged parts last winter and wonder if you could email me at dcufr@roadrunner.com to see we can get you and my friend "talking" to see if you can help him.

Dave,

Do you have a list of items that he is looking for? I am willing to dig through my pile.
