Where are you taking the number from? Most of the listings I found show a seven digit number beginning with 700 or 701. Also a little (or a lot) more description would help. Single -dual -quad etc

Thanks for the reply. The number is stamped into the body. It also has VU II cast in to the body as well. It is a 2 barrel and I am guessing 70's or 80's. I am attempting to attach 2 pictures.

Thanks again and you may be correct on the number because it looks like the carb got bumped some how at that area, making it difficult to read. My first look I thought it was 0, then I cleaned a bit with some old steel wool that was rusty and came up with the 6, and when I took the picture and put it on I was leaning toward the 8, but hadn't done any research on that as of now. Thanks and have great Holidays and be safe.

While I dont know the numbers that looks like the carb fitted to the mid 80's 3.3 commodore down here in Aus. They were not a very liked carb and were often thrown away especially by those trying to squeeze the extra horse power the engine was known to be capable of.

Thanks for the info. I got a box full of carbs many years ago and just trying to figure out what they fit. This is the only one I had not ID.
