Has anyone replaced the outer door sill rubber covering on 1946-1948 Fleetmaster ? This is the ribbed rubber which looks like running board rubber. It appears to be bonded to flat sheetmetal which is fastened with small screws.
The original is cracking and breaking away.
I just want to know what I am getting into before I touch this as it looks like that old rubber will be disintegrating.

If this is what you are talking about. Should not be too hard, except for the $$$$. Good luck.
