Does anyone know what replacement brake drums are available for a 6 lug Master deluxe.

The filling station description is a little vague, also I was wondering if a different car or truck drum works.

For a 1941 passenger car all 4 drums are the same. They fit all cars with independent front suspension from 1936-1948 and all cars rear for that range. Also the rear brake drums for 1936-1954 trucks will fit your 1941.

Thank you, all the parts books are showing 11" x 2.5" drum width.
Just was a little confusing to me.

Where can I find a cross reference book that show's comparable parts for car or trucks and possibly year ranges for parts?

If you need an interchange catalog, then I would refer you to eBay.

If you merely need some drums, then Gene has given you all the information you need. Just go and see the forum on "Parts Wanted."

If your current drums are turnable then take them to your local tire shop or service shop that has a brake drum grinder.

Drums where cut before I got the car, I measured them and they are 11.380, This is way over spec,

I installed new wheel cylinders and brake shoes and i went to adjust the brakes and the adjusters are wound all the way out and i barely have drag.

One of the adjusters dropped the pin its so far over sized.

Thats why I need new drums.

As far as a cross refference book or compatable vehicals book, which ever you want to call it, it would be nice to have, I hace used these books in my other restoration projects but these where much later model cars (60's-70's era)

Question: Were you moving the adjusters out the same on both sides when one fell off?

I was adjusting both sides a little at a time.

I did score a set of drums today from my local warehouse that I deal with. A set of 4 bendix brake drums, $23.82 ea.

Got my rear drums from "ROCKAUTO" for around $23.00 for a listed 1955 pickup. Had to inlarge the center hub hole a little so they would fit like they should.Been doing fine on my '47 stylemaster daily driver,for about a year now.

I purchased it at the Towe Museum in Deer Lodge Montana in the 90's. I just found it in the my The Filling Station catalog. Part # DC-9.
