I have a metal strip in the shape of a square channel below the rear window of a 39 Coupe which I don't know what it is for..
anyone know why this is here? it is just above the parcel tray shelf.. see attached photos.

Roof bow rod sticking out each end to help shape the 2 bottom corners of the headliner? Weird...

Is it a 2 passenger coupe or a 4 passenger coupe?

It’s a Business Coupe..

maybe it has to do with the headliner.. the coupe has a panel below the rear window.
