My Brother wants to know if a '31 chev head will work O.K. on a '36 block. His head is cracked, I mean the engine head, and I have a spare here. The # on his cracked head is 837981 which shows it's for a 35-36 in casting #'s on the Hot Link. Thanks. I'll see him Saturday.

jerry.31 head will not work on 36 .31 head will work on 30 31 head #836275 cast #836273 .lay the 36 head gasket on 31 head and you will see the difference. kozy 2772
