Found a NOS dash grille at Hershey this year that I thought would fit my 1947 car. Thought I would attempt to put it in today while I was doing my radiator pressure check, only to find out it will not fit. Now I am trying to figure out what it will fit. It has a number on the back of 3683112 which I think is just an ID number. I will attempt to attach pictures which are not the best because I took pictures of pictures to get them small enough to be able to attach. I did learn looking through several parts books that the group number for cars is 10.256 and trucks 16.083. If I do mange to attach the picture the one with black strips is the one I bought and the plain one is the one out of my car. The reason it will not fit is if you look where the strips are it rolls back and the one on my car doesn't so it will mate up with the chrome piece running under the gauges. Any help will be appreciated.
