Hi All, Steve from The Filling Station here. We are in need of the sheet metal opening for the Cowl Vent on 1935- Master or all 1936 Passenger cars. This is NOT the lid, but the actual sheet metal opening panel that the lid fits into. The problem we have is that the mold for the rubber cowl vent seal is over 40 years old and needs to be redone. Our supplier, Steele Rubber, would like to have the sheet metal panel that the gasket fits into before they re-tool this mold. If you have a junk cowl and can cut this opening piece out, please contact me. We need your help to keep offering a proper fitting rubber seal for the cowl vent on these cars. The application is 1935 Master Series and all 1936 Chevrolet passenger cars. Please Help!

We just got confirmation that we have the correct panel. Thanks for your help! We found it locally at Old Car Parts in Portland. I appreciate all of the support from the VCCA!
