Inherited a 1934 Master 3w coupe that's needs some tlc and reassrmbly. Could someone supply me with a pic of where the cowl to radiator support rods attach to the rad support specifically. Thanks for any knowledge gained!
I'll try to post a pic this evening , maybe someone can identify it. Honestly looks like Ford's bracket but I'm really unfamiliar to tell..thanks guys...lots to learn
I'll apologize up front, the car in its current state is that of late 80's -early 90's street rod flair....but I'm working on that. Radiator is a walker brand. As I've stated, it's hard to determine what I have from what it's supposed to look like with so little pics available other than what I've found via internet before going this site.
It's really a very solid car and will make an even nicer car. Right now I'm in the stage of removing billet items and determining which direction to go next to suit my taste...thanks.
Your definitely missing the correct bracket that the hood rods attach too. WALKER RAD makes a great quality radiator.
The engine is either a 305 5 liter or a 350 5.7 liter. These TPI systems came on cameros and corvettes and were widely used in all kinds of street rods. 2 tone paint, this kind of induction, billet aluminum parts, are more a 90's statement of the way they were built. If it has BOYDS wheels on it , definitely 90's build. Don't like the shiny stuff, take it off and too a sand blaster to etch the aluminum and get it powder coated and never have to polish anything again. I have the same TPI system on my 35 tub all chrome plated, going to come off and get powder coated in red to match body colour.
My 35 roadster standard series under construction , I just had the grill insert done in satin black and the center molding in gloss. Mesh was to heavily surface rusted to be polished and replated. I have 2 others in stainless if I want to go the shiny look. The rad shell grill emblem was stripped down to brass as i bought it and had that clear coated.
Powder coated aluminum has an interesting look when clear coated with powder. I have valve covers and other items done this way again to avoid the shine it weekly.
TERMITE , just went thru my pictures on computer and emailed myself 2 pictures to show the bracket your looking for , its for a standard but , still is same look as your 34 master.
