They are as follows-Cyl. head 70-80 foot pounds, main bearings 100-110 lbs.,connecting rods 35-45 lbs.,rocker arm support bolts 25-30,manifold clamps 15-20 lbs.,flywheel to crank shaft 50-65 lbs.,most other small bolts 25 lbs. is good. This should be done with clean, oiled threads.

Chev Nut, what would the reading be for the wrist pin retainer bolt ? I saw it stated one time but I can't remember.

Sorry Chevegene - I meant actually going out there and attempting to put it back together. You will probably hear the swearing in the States!

If it can be heard in the states I had better get my earmuffs on here in Aus. It is not a hard job but dont rush it though. Fit each part with plenty of at least oil if you have not got assembly lube and make sure they move in the correct manner before tightening the next part. I have tensioned all big ends down only to find a spec of dust under the first slipper locked the whole thing up. It is not a race and you dont want to do it all again next week.
1938 1/2 ton Hope to drive it before I retire
