If you are like me you have watched in horror at the destroyed homes and lives from the fires in Northern and Southern California this week. But this disaster is different; a number of our fellow VCCA families have lost everything!
I just can’t imagine losing a family member, neighbors, pets, house or cars to the terrible heat and flames of these fires. I know the VCCA can make a difference in the broken lives of these members.
We have started the VCCA California Fire Relief Fund. I encourage you, as I have done, to think about what you can do to help. I know my family would greatly appreciate anything at all if we had lost everything….wouldn’t you?

These funds will go directly to the VCCA members in need as indicated by our local Area Directors, Jim Matus and Jim Karras. This is a time for Thanksgiving that these members have survived, but also a time for us to do what we can to help them recover.
