I was getting ready to order some valve cover and Intake gaskets for the 68 327 275hp stock engine and saw that Fel Pro offers more than one valve cover gasket, a 5/32" cork, a 7/32" cork, a rubber and a Perma Dry Plus valve cover gasket. Anyone have experiance that would show a perference for one type over the others? Thanks.

Use the thinner 5/32" cork or the Perma Dry...The thick cork will compress around the bolts and distort the cover. The rubber gets as hard as a piece of plastic after a few years - from the heat.
