I see there are several types of materials for convertible tops - which one is the best and correct for a 65 Impala?

Looking for a grill, rear SS trim, wheel openning moulding, trunk lid,

thanks

There was only ome material used.A vinyl coated fabric. It was available in different colors. The colors were white, black, and biege. The correct material is available from all the major top makers ....and from the advise of my trim shop the heavier (thicker) material is not always the best...they use Eletron brand tops and the one they installed for me about 15 years ago still looks great.

I just thought of "Impala Bob's" and checked to see if they had the wheel opening trim.

Impala Bob\'s wheel opening trim

Take a look for yourself. $229 doesn't sound too bad, all things considered.

It seems likely he will have other items you're looking for.....

Bill.
