Don''t know if I have a 327/250 or 327/300 Has Carter carb. tag 38462(47)? Need to rebuild 369(1)?S need pos. ID is D8 this a stock carb?

The Serial number on the door post only indiactes if its a 6 or 8 cyl. engine car.Does not indiacte which V8 engine.The 250 HP engine will have an R or RA in the block code stamp.The 300 HP a RB,RK,SB or SG.. The 300 Hp engine will have an Aluminum Carter AFB carburetor and the large 2 1/2" exhaust pipes. Gene Schneider

OP songdog Grease Monkey Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 14 Rio Rico AZ	finally found the cowl VIN tag 12B style 63-1847 body JA14335 trim 858-Z Paint 934 ACC C.M. What does this tell me? Haven't found # from engine yet. I want to restore to factory original or close to it.
