OK, so I have figured out that next to your username in a post is a face icon. The face icon will be yellow if you are currently online or grayed out if the person is offline.
What I can't figure out is that I have noticed next to my smiley face is an icon with the letters OP in it, what does that represent? I've noticed it in others too, like Beamer, but it's not in everyone's. Can someone enlighten me?
Thanks

VCCA members have access to a list of over 50 Technical Advisors who can help you with your car. It's worth the price of membership! While you can get a lot of information for free in this forum, sometimes the info that you REALLY need is only available from the right person. This is what "The World's Best Chevrolet Club" is all about!
Jeff, Thanks for asking this question. I have been wondering the same thing myself. Perhaps I have been identified as good, bad, or indifferent (pick one). I edited this post because when it appeared after posting it, the op was missing! Beamer

I think Cabboy may have the answer. At first I thought why would we need to identify the original poster, can't we just scroll to the top to see who originally asked the question? But I guess that does make sense when you are down into a long thread and you see the OP insert another comment.
Thanks Cabboy, I tried to come up with an explanation and it just wasn't there. But I think you have it figured out.

RonPenn You maybe right and depending on where the line between old and young is drawn and by whom. They may not put you in the "OLD" but "Otherwise" bracket like me. I prefer to go with the "Original Poster" explanation and not upset anyone. Tony
I am glad you guys figured out what the op stood for. However, being a Devil's Advocate, I wonder why the person who put it in there in the first place didn't see fit to get involved here! Beamer
Ok Ok my misunderstanding I was thinking Beamer was refering to the poster of the original question about the icons not the person that set up the icons, my apoligies. Tony
