Does anyone not see this as a beautiful car? luv2 wave

Just like the one Gene said he saw in the dealership show room back in the days he worked there.

Can anyone point out any descripences in the car or its description?

I noticed the usual red paint where it was not supposed to be and the aftermarket intake, exhaust and carberator system. Any thing else?

BTW: I would tempted to trade the 41 project car (cabriolet with all the accessories I have collected to go on it), the 50 Chevrolet convertible, the 41SD coupe for it. And as a kicker my Rolex M- series (blue, stainless and gold), Maybe. The missus too? Why of course! I have my priorities. Agrin

I agree Charlie, A beautiful car and very correctly done. In addition to what you mentioned I see 10 more nit picky things; sun visors, carpet inserts, heater, spotlight, mismatched accessory switches, valve cover is '50 or later, wrong coil and electrolock, washer nozzles should be on cowl and button goes on the lip of the dash, top boot should have red trim etc.
But I question the description in the video claiming 10,000 original miles, original chrome, original paint on firewall and recent repaint of the exterior. The woodgrain dash is definitely not original as claimed.

The car has been for sale twice before on E-bay, Listed in Meredith New Hampshire and ended quickly on July 8, 2013 with a buy it now of $50,000. Same VIN listed 6AH07 58533…. It had 8,895 miles at the time.
It came up again in Norwalk Ohio ending April 7, 2014 with no bids against a starting bid of $90,900. This is a dealer doing business as Pete’s Motor Cars. Try this link; https://www.ebay.com/itm/1941-Chevrolet-Special-Deluxe-Convertible-THE-BEST-AACA-SENIOR-WINNER-AMAZING-/111315607503?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=JNYk0K%252ByZOv%252BCYSvh1SQMBnAKOI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
Or this; http://vi.vipr.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBay...spheader=1&oneClk=1&secureDesc=0

You’ll See most of the accessories were on the car then with 9,100 miles and it’s changed little. I’m questioning the repaint, doesn’t look like it needed it. I think it was restored in the 90’s and probably the 10,356 has been put on since.
Just my opinion.

Original dash - no redone, probably incorrect engine because of oil fill cap on valve cover.. Has a large number of sins but a beautiful looking car.. ....if you like red accents.
Older pictures show a different engine and 1939 horns...ugg

Blue dot tail light lens? UGH!

As has been pointed out, - many incorrect items. Shark Teeth are for the 1940.

I would like to know what that strange looking manifold is. Also did they really have painted hubcaps like that?

Blue dots, Well ot as ugly as a fulton. Agrin

As to the Shark Teeth rims. As stated they are for the 1940 but they are so dang good looking luv2 on a 41 (Better than the right ones) that 41 owners have adopted them. They should have been carried over from 40 to 41.

Best,

Charlie computer
