Since there is no longer a forum for my 42. I have to post here I need to remove the head light switch from the dash. I have the knob off but need to know how the bezel comes off. I assume it screws off, but I do not want mess it up.

There should be a slot in the nut that holds the switch in place. The rod goes thru the nut and a wide slot should be visable when the rod is removed.

Hi Gene there is a slot. It just would not budge so I thought I would check first before I screwed something up. Thanks for the reply. I will give it another go.
