I am trying to locate an 'eyebolt' that attaches the shock absorber linkage to the straight axle I beam for my 1937 Master Business coupe.I call it an eyebolt but I do not know the official part name. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement, or what it is called, mine is bent and the threads are stripped.
Any help is appreciated.

Tiny,
Thanks for your Reply but I have the link shown in your picture, I need the eyebolt that connects that link to the straight axle. It has a large eye that the rubber bushing inserts into and bolts to the axle.

Hello Tiny,
No, the lower part of the link connects to an eyelet with a threaded stud that attaches to the front axle thru a hole next to the spring mount.
I have been helping with the repairs.

I think you are looking for the part called "Axle Fitting: in parts group 7.385.

I am probably misreading the parts book but I cannot determine the part number for a Master Coupe (GB). My 1940 parts book does list a number for a GC. The 1954 parts book does not even include a section 7.385.

Hope that Gene can work his magic to figure this one out.

I can remove one of mine and send you pictures and measurements if that will help.

Hello Everyone,
The parts were located at a local member, Bob Graves, who advertises in the G&D. The car is back together and back on the ground.
