Hello everyone , I have a 454 cu in engine in my truck & can't get it to fire; I have voltage on both sides of the resister & both posts on coil are hot as is the high tension coil wire, but I'm getting no fire to the points; What could be the problem? Thx for your help.

Internal break in the wire runing from the coil to the points?

Do you have voltage to the positive arm on the points when they are open? If not then track back to find the problem.
