Saw this on the old photo wall while eating lunch at the Dog House, which has been in business for many years. I give up, what car is this? It can't be a '37 Master, but looks like it, too many things seem off...

I'm certainly no expert but the tail light looks like a '39.

It is either a 1936 or 1937 Studebaker. Hard to tell from the back. The 1936 had the headlight stands on the fender and the 1937 on the grill shell sides.

Mid 1930's cars were still commonnly seen when I was young. By 1950 they disappeared in a hurry.

I believe Studebakers, made in South Bend, Indiana and the Nash, made in Kenosha, Wi. were more popular in this area.

The Studebaker Museum, in South Bend, has so much Studebaker info. Same phrase was repeated by visitors .... "I didn't know that". Worth going through.

Went through the Studebaker Museum in 2007, the year we retired. Took a 7700 mile trip for 7 weeks. Drove it in our 2002 Dakota 4 door.
