Can someone help identify this tank? I bought this tank while restoring my 1924 but it turned out to be too short. My tank is 42 inches long and this tank measures 36 inches. I think it is a 27 but I am not sure. Someone has added another filler neck for some reason. Tank is very solid with no rust and is for sale if anyone is interested.

Thanks Ray, that is what I thought as well. Are they worth anything?

YES! Provided it is not dented on the bottom or the front. Also, it must be rust free or has been lined with either the Red, White, or Blue tank liner.

Thanks Ray,
Tank has no dents and appears to have the original primer and paint. No rust at all as it looks like it has been in storage in a dry place for a long time.

The "second filler neck" is standard on the 27/28 tanks. It is, in fact, the location and mounting point for the fuel gauge. Wish it was a bit closer to me!

I have a 1925 Superior coupe and it has a 36" tank just like this one without the thing on the right side of the tank.
