Just got my dad's 50 1/2 ton back from daughter, but I have got so fat, can't get behind the wheel. Anyone else have that problem, is there a way to move seat farther from steering wheel, and perhaps lower, without getting bucket seats, or something, as want to keep it mostly origional.

Yep....I do, and I just wear a shirt that needs a dirty streak across the area where the wheel rubs........, anything that bolts down can be moved, till you are pushing the gas tank into the rear of the cab, it is easier to move the seat than cut the steering column off. I think mine has grown several inches in the last 15 years, I wonder why they made those old columns so long anyway?
