hello I have a 79 corvette, and need to change tyres to get a roadworth certificate (need this to drive car in Australia) i am looking at getting BFG TA radials, but i have been told that a brand that i have never heard of "Hercules" are just as good, and have been told that they are made in US. now my question is does anyone know anything about this brand of Tyres? are they good, reliable tyres or just a waste of money? i wait for some feedback

I never heard of that brand but upon doing a search I see it is an American Company.
Go to Tire Rack.com and do a search as it is indicated that they carry that brand. They have customer reviews as well as their own. The Tire Rack is a super large US tire sales outlet.
Besure to spell Tires the US way.

Here is some Hercules info.

Hercules is made by "Cooper Tire". Cooper name is more well known than Hercules. Being from Ohio, where both tires are manufactured, both names have been known to me, over the years.

If you are looking for Hercules customer complaints, type onto google "Hercules tire complaints".

if I had a choice between Cooper and Goodrich I would take the Godrich even if it costs more.

thank everyone for their input, have made my decision
will go with BFG TA radials, have them on my 69 chev pickup
so will go with them on my 79 vette. BFG are dearer here in Aus but your safety cannot be judged but money, and besides they just look cool on cars/trucks cool
