OP allstate bob Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 71 denver, colorado	On my '46 interior door handle, in order to open the door I have to push the handle downward...it rests in an almost horizontal position, and then moves from, say, the 9:00 position down to the 7:00 position to open the door....on a '40 chevy, do the door handles move the same way and in the same direction?
