Anyone know of a source for the dual type windscreens used on racers? The bracket screw to the cowl, then the glass in a frame is mounted between them. thought there was one in England?

A friend suggested Brooklands. They look great!

you may want to enter the world of the H. A. M. B. = that's the hokey [bleeped] message board.

There they are right into all that old time and retro stuff.

I am sure the post in the right section will come up with the answers you need.

I am going to use Wind-wing brackets. The ones I am using were made for a big car from the late 20's. I have seen generic ones that look great. Maybe check out Snyder's Catalog in New Philadelphia OH

If you look on ebay or model A or V8 suppliers, wind wing brackets are available really fair priced.

I bought a couple sets for my roadster to use on a DUVAL windshield

Model A wind wing brackets do not work on the roadsters unless you want to drill joles in the stantions (I wouldn't do that). Originally the brackets were attached using shaped clamps. I spent a little time shaping mine (3/32" x 3/4" mild steel), then had them chromed. They look beautiful and stock.
