Good day!
Hopefully someone will be able to help me out. Looking for photos or illustrations for the choke cable bracket for a 23 touring car. I have found references for the short intake tubes and for 490's but nothing for 23/24. The choke cable was missing when I got the car and I cant find any attach point to even fashion a bracket. Any guidance greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Tom

On my '24 it just has a wire running from the choke arm up to the pull knob on the dash. It seems to work. I don't know what was used originally. I couldn't find any correct info on this either.

Yes my 24 also has a short rod with a pull on the dash connected to a section of cable without casing that is attached to the choke.

Tom
this weekend I will be able to take some pics of the choke cable on my 27's if you would like I can post them.

Ken,
I don't think your configuration will work as you have the short intake tube. If by chance you have a long intake tube then the photos may help.

Tom, I have e-mailed you a picture of my choke cable setup. I don't think it is proper as it won't stay where you set it. If I were to hand crank the car I would have to have someone work the choke. I will probably design something different this winter when I am working on the car. Tom
