I am wondering I am trying to keep the vacuum wipers on my 51 convert and thinking of getting a dual action fuel pump has anybody ever used this setup and how does it work do you need a separate vacuum tank???

No vacuum tank needed, but you may have read that already, from the other site.

Just saw this...My 54 has a dual fuel pump,,Its function is to help the wipers work under acceleration. Works well and was worth the price. Beware of used pumps....Bill
