My 37 is getting a heater and is there any kind of bracket that holds the heater hoses to the inner fender or do they just dangle,I just do not want the hoses to flop around so I am going to come up with something to keep the hoses in place. Just wondering if when a heater was installed at the dealer a bracket was installed to hold the hoses.

Here are two pics of a holder.

A holder is indicated in the installation instructions for heaters such as this one:

I doubt I can find a original bracket and have been looking at a bracket for a 55-7 car that I should be able to make work, thinking about putting it a little lower then in the pictures so the hoses wont get in the way.

The ones that are claimed to be original tend to go for some money,it looks identical to one for a 55 to 56 car which is the one I will be getting. I found those new on ebay for around 12 dollars and there is a place in town called Restoration world that should have it and going there saturday morning.

Jeff, here are the 38 instructions I never quite understood how that bracket could be mounted by the hood latch. I feel like this bracket could be made quite easily.

I think with a 55-6 car bracket and some tinkering I could make one like in the instructions,I see its bolted to the motor and even though I do have a 216 side cover on my 235 I just cant bolt it on since most of the bolt holes in the side cover have partial screws epoxied in them. I was thinking on attaching the bracket to the inner fender but might change when I get a bracket and look over the motor.
