Bad News - Good News!

On Thursday June 20th the Port Huron Doubletree(Host Hotel)informed the Lower Michigan Region that they would not be able to fulfill their commitment to Host our upcoming 50th Central Meet.

Today, Friday June 21, an alternate site was obtained in the Port Huron area to host the 50th Central Meet, some three miles south of the original Doubletree site. The site is named the "Seaway Terminal" and has sufficient "secured" paved space and facilities to house trailer parking, motorhome parking, judging field layout, and all of the other activities planned for this event, i.e. Banquet, Picnic, Registration, Swap Meet, etc. Access to the facility is by digital touch pad.

Everyone currently on the meet Registration List will be contacted via telephone by the Meet Chairman, Mike McFarland, within the next two days to provide specific details such as where the "Seaway Terminal" is located and the access code for entry into the facility. The Doubletree provided a listing of those VCCA individuals who made reservations with them for our event, so we are aware of who needs lodging. Several Hotels in the area have blocked rooms for our event. Mike will provide reservation information when you are contacted.

If you made Hotel reservations earlier at locations other than the Doubletree, nothing changes for you.

Do you have questions, concerns, or want to change your current reservation? Call Mike McFarland at 810-790-1812.
