Hello, I am new to this site and am not sure how it all works but I will give it my best shot. I am a chevy fan from way back. All I have ever had is chevy pickups. now I have an old 44 chey 1 1/2 ton truck my stepdad left behind, he started to restore it but passed away before it could be finished. I have had a few people ask me if I would consider selling it, but I am not sure how much it would be worth. If any one could help figure out what it would be worth at this point. I have seen a few online restored and going for 20k. it made me want to finish this one and keep it, but at this time I don't have the means to get the job done.
thanks for your help chevygirl

Chevygirl,

I think the consensus would be that, in all likelihood, you will put more into restoring it than you can get out of it afterwards. Accordingly, you may be upside-down in it after restoration and not likely to make a profit.

I would recommend unloading it as is and at a fair market price for the condition that it is in.

Best of luck, whatever you decide.
