howdy friends, i'm a new guy on this forum. i'm in need of some info. first, whats the difference between a clone and a tribute car? also need info on the best place to get parts for a 66 bel air. also, would be nice if i could hook up via pm with somebody with a 66 bel air for info and help. thanks

Jerry welcome. I think that a clone and tribute both describe and attempt to replicate a particular vehicle. Seems that tribute is viewed as a more positive term than clone or fake.

Been too long since I owned a '66 for my feeble memory to be reliable. I am sure there are others better versed than I.

Do have a VCCA and SJR friend with a '66 Caprice Coupe. Drives it all over. Really nice car.

Depends on what parts are needed. Impala Bob's advertises in the G&D. There are a bunch more that have some parts for a '66 both NOS, NORS and used. If you search with google will find some. If you post the parts wanted in the proper forum maybe some with parts or source will respond.
