Anyone out there know definitely what the valve covers on a 1967 Camaro 327 should look like? I have seen ones advertised that are plain, ones that have Chevrolet in script across the top, ones that have a 327 decal in the middle, ones that have no holes, ones that have a hole on one side only, and ones that have holes in both covers. Looking for guidance! :-)

1967 Chevrolet 327 valve cover says Chevrolet in script on them. One year only cover. They're just like the ones on the SS350 except the 327 was painted...Joe

Thanks. I like that answer, as I have a pair of those that I bought a year ago at a swap meet, but didn't know if they were correct. Here's a link to a pair on eBay that says they are 67 Camaro covers. Obviously different.

The correct valve cover was plain with no holes as the oil fill pipe had threads for the PCV Valve. They have a staggered bolt patten and had a decal denoting the horse power with gold letters on a black back ground. Denny @ Denny's Bowtie Restorations

I disagree on the staggered bolts. I think that 59 was the last year the small block valve cover bolts were staggered.

Definitely not staggered bolts. I went out and looked at my heads just to make sure. I have also seen the plain valve covers with the 327 decals on them. I guess this raises the question again about the correct valve covers since I have two different answers...

What I posted about your Camaro 327 is correct. I did & still do Camaros. You can ask on the Camaro Research Group but if I were judging your Camaro & it had anything other than orange "Chevrolet" script covers, I would deduct points...Joe
