Do you have any ideas? What could be its use? Have you every seen such a thing?

It is a permanent wave machine for curling women's hair. There were a number of curlers to put in your hair and hook up to electricity. It was probably originally green. It was manufactured in the 1920's. I found one on line by googling "Sommer's Natural.

Hi Jim, this cabinet looks a lot like a cabinet that we saw on a Junk-Yard Dog tour. I remember that the guy that had it also did not know what it was used for.Good luck with the search.

I tried searching that and nothing came up. I did see it on the second page, now! I was using my phone for the initial search. When I added "machine' to the end, it came up first.

Sal, that is the cabinet that I too saw on a JYD tour this last week during the BOD Meeting. It's the same one. I was trying to help identify it for the guy.
