OP Chevy1778 Backyard Mechanic Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 229 Wisconsin, USA	How difficult is it to repair the column shift lever spring on an automatic shift column? The symptom is that the shift lever has no spring tension when moving the lever to different selections. The lever seems to be loose. The pin is not loose, the lever has no resistance when being pulled back to move the lever to another selection. PNRD. Last edited by Chevy1778; 02/12/12 10:11 AM.
