My '47 came with a S.W. Temp. Gauge added below the dash...I suspect the original doesn't work...Question was : Can the Gauge be repair or do I look for one on Ebay...?

This has been covered a few times on the forum. Yes, it can be repaired. Check in G&D for services offered for a source.

Thanks Keith...I can always rely on you...Picked up Two Complete Dash Gauge Clusters last week on Ebay ( just for the Heck of it )...Haven't actually tested the one in my car...It came with a S&W Temp. gauge attached below the dash and it's going to interfere with the switchs I need to install ( heat / defrost ) Thanks for the Information...Kevin

You can repair the temp gauge your self with just a soldering iron or gun and some ice. there is a good info on the mopar web site if you do not find it contact me and I will give full instructions. DO NOT USE A FLAME TO SOLDER A TEMP GAUGE. AL
