Looking for a right rear tail light stand, (the short one) it was a optional accessory for a 1935 Chev MASTER sedan. It mounts to the inside of the right fender with a teardrop pad. Or does anyone know were to have one manufactured. Thanks 1935 Chev

These are scarce, but occasionally come up on ebay. I bought one for my 36 Chevy Master FA about a year ago. I've probably seen half a dozen since then, both long and short ones. I never did find the light bucket for the right side, so I'm using a left hand bucket and filling in the light hole. I paid about $125 for the stand and light bucket (left side), but I've seen some go for 2 or 3 times that. Good luck. I'll let you know if I see any more. Randy

I must've been lucky--a few years ago picked up a complete good used right and left long tail light set for about $50 on ebay.
You might check with some of the folks who sell repro parts--like Kessler's, Filling Station, I&I, Obsolete Chevrolet, etc. Several years ago there were reproduction right tail light stands--but they were somewhat rough cast and had to be cleaned up. I remember seeing one at Hershey.
But now for a question if folks don't mind one being tacked into this thread:
Are there any opinions on the best way to wire in the right side? Just connect into the wires from the left tailight since it is close by? How was this done at the dealer/factory?
Thanks! Joel

Just to keep things straight, the 1935 Master and 1936 (All) tail light bracket stands are not the same.
The 1935 EA, ED have a 3-3/4" short fat tear drop base, while the 1936 (All) have a 5-1/2" long slender tear drop base. They both share the same bolt pattern.
Also the 1935 bracket only came in one length, while the 1936 has two different lengths, one for the truck models and one for the spare tire models.
The left side tail light buckets are also different, the 1935 cars have the tag bulb pressed against a grommet (no glass lens), while the 1936 have a glass lens covering the bulb.

Mike, I think you meant "one for trunk models" rather than "truck"
I have a new a right and left 1935 Town Sedan and Sport Sedan bracket (lid mounting) if anybody needs them.

Hi everyone I just joined the VCCA last year and the chat two weeks ago, i never thought one question could raise so much interest and great comments. I feel right a home, sitting around a campfire talking about the finer details of antique automobiles and days gone by, thanks for input.
Back to the question or maybe a new one, does anyone have a right rear tail light stand (3-3/4", fender mount with spare) for BEAUTIFUL, ORIGINAL 35 Suicide(2door)Master that I could use for a week so i could have a dup made in a sand cast??? I'll put down a large depoit, insure it and pay for shipping both ways.

Hey Gene, thanks for correcting my spelling error...I never was good at that!
Pushrod, The 1936 style tail light bracket became the replacement for the 1935's as soon as the 1935 stock was depleted.

Mike- it wasn't the spelling error - just looked confusing with "truck" I had to stop and figure that one out.I make enough spelling/typing errors myself.
