I also found Dads battery box. It is in bad shape but he took the rivets out of it and layed it out flat and had it on the shelf under the side curtains. There was no bottom but the top part is in good shape. I also looked at the lifter locks on his car and they are tight in the slots. No slop at all. All 8 were snug like that. Looks like I have work to do on mine!

Bob - It's good to get confirmation that the lifter locks are supposed to be a tight fit. That was my guess, but all of mine were loose. chevy
