Does anyone know where I can get a reproduction decal for my 1939 Chevrolet Master 85 Deluxe Town Sedan oil bath air cleaner? I found one at the filling station for $2.00 but they only ship UPS and that puts a $2.00 decal at around $12.00 which in my estimation is outrageous! I can not seem to find one anywhere else. Any one got any tips? Thanks Bob

You can try Chevys of the 40's, www.chevsofthe40s but they probably don't want to put a decal in an envelope either and put a stamp on it? So maybe you need to place a bigger order or check with a buddy who will go in with you on an order and you share postage. Maybe someone on this chat site is going to be placing an order and they will help you out? Good luck, Mike

The Chevs decal isn't the correct one. The only one I found for the oil bath is the one at the Filling Station. The only advise I have is buy something else that you need/want to make the exorbitant shipping they charge on small items more reasonable.

When you call the Filling Station to order the decal, ask if they will put the decal between two sheets of light cardboard and mail in an envelope by First Class Mail and charge an appropriate amount. Sometimes the computer doesn't realize that there is another way.

They ship my orders by FedEx because I told them, I didn't like UPS.
