Anybody out here have a junk (for parts) '47-'50 Chevy or GMC Truck radio. I need the slanted back cover off of one.

'Ah, all things come to those who wait,'
(I say these words to make me glad),
But something answers soft and sad,
'They come, but often come too late.'
Violet Fane (1843-1905)

Lets hope this wasn't the case with Spanky.

I've been looking for most of the Summer, Fall and now we're into the Winter, for a half-way decent '54 deluxe truck heater, a 4.10 gear for my HO52 and a few other things. But, like my fishing luck, not a nibble worth keeping on the line.
A few years back, bout 2006 I was persistant and after about a year and a half I got enough parts to put together a stock radio for my '50, 3600.

There are alot more radios around than there are back covers to go on them.
I am short 3 right now.
Seems as though those covers got removed so the radio guts could be fiddled with without removing if from the truck....
Alot of covers never got put back on.

We have a nice '54 Fresh Air heater with the trap door Denny.

I found a nicer one not long afterwards, & sold that one.
