I'm in the middle of restoring my 1959 apache fleetside. I've had the old man for about 16 years and it was time for him to get a new look as 50 years of labor was starting to show. My question today is that My paint code shows up as 740j meaning cardinal red but we have taken it apart to reveal it was originally omaha orange. have any of you had this happen. the paint sample was in a spot that hasn't seen sun or dirt since it was put together. Also I was wondering about the interior color. It is kind of a light coppery beige color (maybe frontier beige) for most of it except the dash which is a textured semigloss? black and the doors wells/steps which I think were also black. Any help on these paint codes would be apreciated, thanks.
